The Robbins family tradition spans over six decades and five generations, with more than 20 family members participating in day-to-day operations since we opened our doors. Some of them are now gone but not forgotten: founders M.H. & Sena Mae Robbins, Otis & Fran Robbins, Carl & Jean Robbins and Bo Robbins & Ryan Otis Robbins. Their commitment to the business and love for propane paved the way for Steve’s Propane today and future generations.
Today, Steve’s Propane operates with three members of the third generation and six of the fourth generation, with the fifth generation starting to lend a helping hand around the shop. From youngsters painting tanks and filling cylinders to teens assisting on tank sets and swamping the delivery hose on Bobtails, propane is our family legacy.
